This was…..a Year.
The dumpster fire that what can loosely be termed politics left many at the edge of their seats wondering what the future would hold. I myself am also left on this twisted emotional roller coaster as my livelihood is toyed with like some sort of carrot on a string.
But in some strange irony, the year for me personally…was pretty okay. I did not manage to achieve everything I wanted, but at the same time, I actually saw some semblance of progress toward a direction I want to be in. The destination is still unclear to me, but maybe if I can hold on a bit longer it will reveal itself.
A lot of doors have also closed behind me, but I can also see some opening in places I never thought there would be any. It’s a strange feeling, I can’t completely say it is optimism, but it is a nice change of pace.
This year I saw the end of a seven year project, and actually published a book. I finished something. And I have very few achievements that I can compare it to.

I also met a lot of fantastic people, and had the opportunity to work with a few projects that are actually interesting to me, not just something to pay a bill.
I’d like to take the opportunity to thank all the people who have stuck around. Whether I have met you in person, or have had passing words on the internet pathways. You have all helped shape the things I create, and I hope that our interactions may have left an impression.
